THE CXLTD PERSPECTIVE
Map the operation before choosing the platform
Start with the journeys that matter most: the reason for contact, the channels involved, the systems an agent uses and the point at which the request is resolved. Record dependencies on telephony, identity, recording and reporting. This becomes the basis for a migration scope rather than a product feature list.
Define acceptance before implementation
Agree what a successful release must demonstrate. Include call routing, recording retrieval, data reconciliation, accessibility and failure recovery. Assign an owner to each criterion and test both the normal journey and the exceptions.
Release in measurable stages
Choose a bounded first journey with a clear support model. Establish baseline measures before rollout, keep a rollback decision point and review the operational evidence before expanding. A staged plan makes the impact of each change easier to understand.
